The FA's are good for BOE; I've made some solid cash from it on that basis + TA, but that doesn't mean (a) it never gets mis-priced both below and above and (b) its immune to global sentiment.
What is priced in and what isn't. Who is participating and who isn't. ETFs went hard and then exited. They are unlikely to be jumping back in when the technical position (something they rely upon with the FA) = poor or average probability.
