    Pretty simple to me.

    Buffet is completely wrong that the distribution was lowered due to asset writedowns.

    Far be it for me to suggest ulterior motives for any such suggestion.

    I suggest posters read Defabster's analysis which sets out the position accurately.

    Sidenote: Although the decreased distribution could be due to other unknown large expenses.
