The only possibility of a CER takeover is for CNP. It would appear that this is highly unlikely. However CNP is very vulnerable to takeover. If CNP were taken over then CER would be also fair game. The only way that a takeover of both would take place would be in the unlikely proposition that another party would have sufficient funding to go on its own and re-capatilise etc. the combined target.
