Sentiment seems to be changing.
It is now OK to wait a while for the right property.

There is some talk about extending super contributions up to 12 %.
To my mind this will mean workers pay will remain static for years [ while the employer puts in more ] and thus buyers will be unable to build up a deposit and bid up prices for some time from now.
The housing market should cool and that will be more equitable for everyone.
