I have just got off the phone to Andy Caruso. Whilst guarded in his remarks,(as you would expect), is very confident about several items.
(1)The negotiations are still ongoing as reported in December with both Clive and Shougang. I can only say he does feel positive about the outcome.
(2)Towards the end of March he will be making an announcement to the market regarding the bfs. Reading between the lines you may find the bfs will be delayed until the end of April. They are awaiting some further vendor prices. Nonetheless I got a warm and fuzzy feeling about the impending bfs result.
(3)Shougang will make the announcement prior to the end of June regarding it's involvement. Andy did say they were still very keen.
In summary I feel at these levels the stock is a screaming
buy. It may go lower before it flys but mark my words that in six months time we will be looking back thinking, "why didn't I load up when they were $1.54". At two bagger at least.
