thanks roboshan for that detailed explanation , and thnx gmac dnt knw if 20 is that young i knw some americans start share trading at 15-16, i started at 19. The thing is if i started a bit earlier i wouldve cashed in on the mining boom, now i just feel were in the latter stages of the boom. Things were better a couple of years ago - more value, even last year for that matter but last year i didnt know much and i lost some money in options ( in bull put spread) during the sept correction. But ive since recovered and made more , as i realized i was much better off buyin stock.
