What does this have to do with Appen? Well, Chat GPT needs a stupid amount of data to run - millions and billions bits of data text, images, video etc is required for it to work.
Seems Appen is promoting Chat GPT quite heavily since its launch in November 2022. I think we need to know more on Appen's involvement in Chat GPT. Won't be too far away - FY report is late'ish next month and AGM is May.
As Appen slowly but surely enhances its reputation as a First Class big data provider to Enterprise the harsh business cycles of advertising could be a thing of the past.
