i dont think you do know what an nda is.
My company signed about 10 of them. Private compamies. All of them were unbelivably restrictive. Some would not allow me to tell anybody anything including my wife. The nda we are talking about is between public company and the government of a country. Most posters on this forum are trying to scrounge every bit of info from every annoucement. They do this to gain an advantage as they know the stock market will move considerably either way, depending on the info. You are one of these people who want info released but only info that will back your position. If you want proof of the the above look at kcn price movements when traders think a positive development is imminent. Over the past year or so NE is good example of this. If news of the myriad stages of the negotiation were made public at every stage and then the eventual scrrapping of the possible sale would have sent the share gyrating for months. A restrictive nda is supposed to stop this gyration from happening or as much as humanly possible.
