LRC is cheap at current prices, far less than i would value it at when considering the potential in this stock.
The new Cachitos site is within 20kilometres of two huge deposits the Cerro Casale and Caspiche deposits holding 26 mil and 20 mil ounces respectively. Cachitos they infer at only 2-4 million ounces. A rather modest estimate in my opinion. The Cachitos project sits in the same volcanic structure as the aforementioned deposits. I would hope they have mistakenly forecasted an ore deposit of no more than 4 million ounces by about half. When looking at the images in the recent quaterly report the inferred resource deposit or spread of ore looks to be far greater than a 4 million ounce maximum.
Aqueros has not even completed the recent 6000metre drilling campaign which will aim to increase the current 780k odd inferred resource. 1-2 million ounces here seems an accurate figure.
A previous post argued LRC was "gold dust" and not worthy as some other stocks claiming far greater grams/tonne. LRC has calculated it will cost US$380 per ounce which leaves a balance on current gold price of US$670 per ounce. That is a great return.
If they are to achieve just 1 mill ounces at Aqueros and 2 million at Cachitos we are looking at about US$2 billion in resource.
If they achieve the 4 million they hope at Cachitos, and this is a modest estimate i believe, the 5 million total ounces after costs will leave LRC with US$3.35 billion in resource. They have 1.1 billion or so shares in the market...
I have seen and held stock with far less potential than LRC sit at 10 cents or more. LCR is worth far more than 1.1 cents. Short term it should be at 5 cents give or take.
Long term this is a brilliant stock.
My advice: BUY.
