Tend to agree Plough I think there is a lack of expertise at the site. I don't have a civil background but worked in mining and did so on Bougainville PNG for a few years until it closed. At the minesite (Panguna) we got an average annual rainfall of 36 feet per year. It was an open cut operation for gold and copper, I can't remember at any time that rain impacted substantially on operations.
