Yes, not a bad point, and the investment mantra definitely follows that line of thinking bcs there can be wild card events, and a propensity for ppl to reduce caution, but... probability does however statistically favour my view, were not assessing the merit of the concept from induction are we ?
The football team that one last year, probably has a better than not chance statistically of winning right ? If you boil water yesterday, it doesnt mean you will be able to today.. the electricity may be off, but...ceteris paribus the laws of physics are unlikely to change overnight.
