I bought a few (options) on spec.
I’m certainly not betting the farm, but I also purchased a ($200m) Powerball ticket.
Result might be the same, but everything in life is a gamble, & ultimately, it’s largely about the timing.
If things work out I won’t be suggesting I’m a financial genius, and likewise hope that no-one suggests I’m a complete idiot.
Maybe my judgement (or timing) was just a bit off on the day.
