Many of the people I know are using the cheap pre-paid calling cards for overseas calls. Their rates are a fraction of the Telstra call charges. Undoubtedly, this will have some adverse impact on Telstra overseas call revenues. May be Telstra will be forced to reduce their ISD call charges to remain competitive. I am not sure what proportion of TLS profit is derived from overseas calls.
