The big concern is that Capral were unable to make money through a very bouyant period. I have been following this anti dumping case and they appear to have upset alot of high profile businesses. While they have been bleeding other extrusion mills have increased domestic capacity and some have actually opened entire new factories. Hopefully Capral can get back to profitability not by reducing competition and having the ability to raise their prices to cover the extra costs the business has encumbered itself with but by becoming a leaner more efficient business that can supply quality products with a reasonable cost base. I'm concerned that if the anti dumping is successful Capral will have a very non competitive advantage over all other extruders and distributors. Alternatively they could also still struggle against the local producers and continue to lose money causing a situation were Australia can not produce enough aluminium extrusion for domestic consumption.
