    "Garret was a hundred mile away from the pink batt's action"

    He actually recieved a letter from the NECA, (national electrical contractors association) before the roll out, regarding their concern at that the scheme in its proposed form might jeopardise the safety of workers both installing metal foil insulation and workers that may access the ceiling after installation.

    Those concerns, as history tells us , were ignored. By who, nobody knows. Was it Garret? hes says No.

    Some companies involved have been fined for breaches of the Electrical safety acts in Queensland in these cases. They are held responsible by law in QLD.

    The question must be asked, are ministers responsible for their policies and any "unintended consequences" whether they are aware of their possibility or not. I think the answer in this case is a resounding No.
