That's right. He's only just catching up with the fact tht there's no tooth fairy.
Motto - recruit a rock wriggler into politics at your own risk.
If your Party's dumb enough to do that - then they have to expect the resultant flak when it all falls down.
"Beds are burning" - heaven - that WAS predictive.
Only sad thing is - four young people's lives no longer exist. All the political hype and excuses for sheer Ministerial ineptitude and carelessness and ignorance seem to skim over this deepest of tragedies - FOUR families will NEVER see THEIR loved one walk in the front door ever again!!
To say he was not anywhere near it is absolutely disgraceful. and an insult to the memory of the dead. And if he wasn't across it full bore then - he should have been - and should have been sacked - then and there!
But Gillard's not into sackings. Just personal survival - at any cost - even involving the sacrificing of innocents' lives - and their hallowed memories.
Garrett was a joke - is a joke - and will continue to be a joke. Just a cheap publicity stunt by publicity mad Rudd - to haul in the young vote.
