To give an answer to your questions -which answer is but my opinion

how secured - presumably somebody identified a need and MSt was the most suitable to supply - there is nothing else that does the following

a) non lethal - lethal man portable multi shot before recoil

b) unique ammo - theft meaningless because ammo not available

c) simple operation

d) lightweight

e) low maintenance

f) climate suitable

g) easy access to parts/modification centre

h) network centric ready

i) attachable to other weapons

Profitable - if the PNG follow US DOD policy 15% nett on the equipment - Ammo is where the money is!!!!

Why PNG - as an initial test site it is very close to the design centre and so is low cost to service plus strong links to Aust DOD and ability field test in a wide climatic and topography range.


As to the capital side I tend to agree that a reconstruction is needed - but before that a revenue stream needed to be established other than equity dilution - this has now been done. So once the bleeding is staunched then you proceed to medical procedures to cure the ailment.

So as i have for nearly ten years - I hove hold and wait.
