well BHP is definitely paying for the privilege of producing those barrels of oil and possibly even copper. BHP would have previously been subsidizing its petroleum division with the margin from iron ore. now its is a perfect storm for BHP unless it pulls its head in and says it would cut IO production, then we will see IO rallying back up.
