you don't need to spend so much to average down

for the same money you originally invested, you can buy 8 times the amount of shares for 2.5 cents. your average price will become 4.44 cents

for example, if you bought 10,000 shares for 20 cents for $2,000, you can buy a future 80,000 shares at 2.5 cents each for $2,000 (or 100,000 shares at 2 cents each). your average price would be 4.44 cents (or 3.64 cents)
