I agree - rather it is during a development window, that things can go sideways as all the price sensitive news triggers are out of the way and you passage through development commissioning risks.

So here we are, at the foot hills of discovery stage.
There is also the possibility of being taken over, as discovery achieves significant scale.

The equation that sets this apart from the sector, is we have a treasure map. X marks the spot, drilled by the soviets. Go fatten the MRE out, and expanding our foot print for larger exposure in the trend.
This equates to a high probability of drill discovery high grade headlines. That is what will get this pushing its nose in front of the pack. They will raise money along the way, but use of funds into high drill efficiency discovery, because of that treasure map.

True, if I was to enter an early stage play again, I think I would aim to bail out during MRE release, or if the MC goes silly, because it usually gets sold down after that.
