Hi what is this? It's a listed property trust reviewed in the AFR Smart Investor Magazine for Jan 08. Here I am at Sunshine Beach, Qld enjoying the sights (rain & wind, ha!) when I nearly choke on my Bondi Blue stubbie!

Chris Wright goes onto look over "standout funds and some new products" in his page article on p.14. Of all the trusts to review and give a thumbs up to which one did he chose??? Apparently this fund will deliver distribution growth of 3% a year and that the shopping centres are worth 10.1 billion....wow!!

His last sentence is a cracker...."LPTs outperformed the sharemarket, and despite frequent pedictions that they are due for a fall or slowdown, it hasn't happened."

I bet Chris was rushing to the printer to stop that story going to print a week or two ago!!! Bad luck Chris....

Oh by the way, the full page ad 4 pages later in the same edition for Centro property group is just as big a laugh....
