Well IMO there is very little doubt that MDT will survive. And thats good news.

However, its looking to me like this is going to be a proportionate 3 or 4 to 1 cap raise. At 5c or 6c a share? I'm guessing.

And assuming its non renounceable (I'll give you 100 to 1 on that one) we have to cough up 3 to 4 times what our current holding is worth to stay in the game. Thats quite a punt for this gentle doctor.

A punt which I will probably reluctantly and for the short term take. I dont want such a large proportion of my hard earned ending up in this one stock.

I've changed my sentiment back to buy. Just not happy with potentially being forced to buy as much as I might have to.
