I agree. Reg Kermode welcomed competition, even to the bankers at MBL who have set up Lime.
But reality is this and spizzywizzy has pointed out a while ago, that the payments system is established and entrenched in the taxi services already. You eithier join it or set up your own... to set up is extremely expensive and time consuming... to pull customers away is yet another battle.
