Fintronics has failed to make much progress (until recently) in the year thar CUS has owned 24%. Splits at board level haven't helped with the old management reluctant to gve up control and CUS unlikely to do much to help until the old mob is gone, I'm guessing. If I were in CUS's shoes I wouldn't want to put in all that effort knowing that I still only had 24% of the biz and 76% of the value created was going somewhere else.
I picked up an interesting comment the other day. The placement done in Fintronics back in June at 66c was into freinds of the old crew, presumably to help shore up support for the oldies...I bet some of those friends are pretty dark with them right now!!!!
Oh, and the recent stuff up with trying to ratify the acquisition in China with shareholders before due diligence is complete, would have really elevated their credibility with the market...NOT
