WITh the oil price off 30 per cent from its peak there could be room for consolidation in the sector. Roc Oil, Horizon Oil, Nexus Energy and Australian Worldwide Exploration could all be among the prospects for merger. But if your view is that oil is only temporarily down, these stocks are among the better prospects to be producers, says analyst Peter Strachan.
