    This is not something new snooker. Surprise strike using "total war" has been the strategy of Israel since its inception.

    Israel has never sought to become part of the middle east, despite its claims of "semitic" heritage. Israel has always seen itself as a imperialist colony of Europe, perfectly entitled to kill, exploit and subjugate the "natives".

    But don't think your wet dream of a surprise attack on the arabs and the holy places they hold dear is unique to hardline jews. There are others on the arab (and US) side that plot such "pre-emptive action".

    Your "boys own" solution would hold the enemy in check but not in checkmate. Fortress Israel would be safe (for a while) but mayhem would rein in the rest of the world. A good chance of WW3 being triggered.

    What would Israel care (now they all know what we were going through eh?).
