The real problem with this debacle seems to me that the AFR actually published some of the BS from the report. I think their reporting gave the report far more exposure and credibility than it should have received (no news from CCP ... so they beef up the story by quoting the BS).
So ... is the problem new media posting from an anonymous report? or old media picking it up and inferring some sort of credibility? I think the AFR should be embarrassed - and I feel for those retail shareholders who sold on Monday.
