Just because punters go short, it does not mean they are on the right side of the trade. In this current situation it may feel that shorters are somehow 'attacking' CCP. I suggest that they are not, they are merely taking a view that over the next few months the CCP SP will go down. The price action today, suggests that in the short term at least, they are on they have gotten it wrong.
