Totally different breed of person and views the more remote and further north you go Humpy.
Over the years I’ve worked ( using a lot of local labour) in various Aboriginal communities around
Cape trib, Cape York, The gulf, Arnhem Land, Daley river, Kimberley’s, Eastern Pilbara and a few others.
Worked and lived in the communities for months on end.
For the most part of it we had some great experiences and made some good friends.
Over the period of a job, at some stage the white/ Black / Colonisation of Australia etc discussion would come up at smoko or lunch.
99% of the time we all came to the same conclusion.
That being, that most of the trouble making and division was coming from down south and out of the cities.
The locals biggest most pressing issues were in regards to getting their communities up a going and their kids etc etc.
The hate of Australia Day etc didn’t rate a mention, it was the NOW that they have were worried about.
It would be a good idea if some of these divisive troublemakers you here from on days like today, took a leaf out their book and concentrated on the NOW and moved out to some these remote communities and helped build their communities.
That’s where they need the help.
Changing a date is not going to help these guys get their lives and communities together and make them successful.

completely agree , but the ABC and its kind never get out the Sydney to see this and think that the rat bags in the cities are indicative of what the remote people think .As you say the vast majority of these remote people are great people .
