What your talking about is cheddar in the main. And yes, I buy all our cheese from Aldi in its various varieties, but I'm mainly a cheddar man There used to be good Aussie cheddar- Robertson, Bega still going, Bodalla, and others I can't quite recall now. There was a cheese shop out at the old Robertson cheese factory at....Robertson. It was quite a drive for me but it was worth it. Plus you could get a bag of potatoes from the farm across the road. There was a cheese I used to get from the local deli which was called Ambrosia. Don't know where it came from but it was the best cheese I ever tasted.
