Jam and cheese was always a favourite for sandwiches. I used to also love a sandwich spread made from onion, tomatoes, eggs, mixed herbs, and heaps of grated cheese. I used to refer to it as "lovely stuff" when asking for this in my sandwiches. Probably not really healthy like your compartment tray. I would have liked all those things you listed, with the luxury being the sweet gherkin. Still buy that sometimes during summer. Apricot jam is a big favourite for me, too........ And fig jam........
