Chemeq secures distribution agreement in Asia

Veterinary drug producer Chemeq Ltd has secured the third international
distribution agreement for its polymeric antimicrobial.
The agreement is with Pahang Pharmacy, a major supplier of
pharmaceutical products to the pig and poultry market in Malaysia, and
will run for an initial period of three years.
The Malaysian agreement follows similar arrangements with
distributors in South Africa and New Zealand.
Chemeq says the latest deal is significant because it represents
support for the product by a leading distributor of animal health drugs
in the competitive Asian market.
Shares in Chemeq fell 4c to $1.98 yesterday.
