Is it not equally likely it was actually done by the regime and that it is being used to show the rebels that there is no foreign help coming there way? That they can do this even when the UN is present.
I mean the US, France and Germany have already admitted that Chemical Weapons have been used. That passed and nothing has happened for fear of supporting future terrorists.

Everyone is so quick to throw up theories of 'false flag' against the USA - the reality is there are a lot of forces at work over there. It is not as simple as 'the US wants oil' or other typical Alex Jones type explanations. This is an Islamic issue, a Russian issue, Iranian, Saudi, American, Israeli, Turkish, etc.

The US may very well get dragged into a war here but I think actions so far show they are very keen to stay out of it.
