George,people have been dying in the name of religion/politics/survival since man found that killing the opponent was apparently the ultimate deterent.People will always die as a result of fanatics in support of whatever cause they represent whether it be the fanatic,opponent or innocents.I have no doubt some lunatic will better sept 11.The US will always be seen as exerting its political/economic influence over other nations and will consequently suffer as a result.If you honestly think sitting down and talking with the likes of Saddam will stop organisations like Hessbullah then all I can say is good luck.At least its much less likely he or his organisation can support terrorists now.

Depends whether you see the above as being incredibly insensitive or practical.Is there room for a grey area in all this?I think the terrorists and their supporters eliminated whatever grey area was available to them to manouver in when Sept 11 happened.

You dont support the current action taken by the US.I do.Nothing is going to change that.

My last comment is at least they are attempting to do something about the burgeoning problem of terrorism.The anti western organisations already exist.Will they be motivated to worse than sept 11,more than likely.However I would much prefer that someone is trying to do something about it rather than ignoring it.No one should have to put up with organisations that seem to think they have the right to walk into a country and surreptitiously organise and then murder thousands of innocent people going about their daily lives.
