As I expected the index funds have sold out their parcels of CLR and without that artificial sell-off we are seeing it rise back to days before the removal was expected.
Something that is interesting with the trading is on both days we have seen a large spread and going into the close the trades were on the upper-side of the spread (Monday 45c and Tuesday 47c). On both days though in the post market auction someone has made a small sale at the bid so that the end of day close is at 41c and 43.5c.
Maybe someone really needed $130 so they crossed the spread and lowered the price from 47c to 43.5c with a parcel of 300 shares. Slamming the close like that is however sometimes seen when someone is trying to cap the price and accumulate at cheaper prices.
The Bluff JORC resource should be released within a week so hopefully the CLR march has a longway to run.
