    The situation in Japan is definately different. Sure the radiation risk is lower, but it is happening 250km from a city of 20 million people.

    I don't know how many people live around these plants, but I'd be pretty confident is saying it is far more than lived near Chenobyl

    Also, the Concrete encasing at Chernobyl was only a few billion. The rest was in medical, loss of land, relocation etc and loss
