Found this very interesing website in regards to kansas oil and gas production and the cherokee basin which WHN have just discovered a significant gas pocket in! The web site just reiterates just how productive kansas and in particular the cherokee basin is in regards to oil and gas production. The cherokee basin came in as the 3 largest formation in the kansas county. The cherokee basin holds massive amounts of gas and if WHN has managed to hit it with good presure then this well with the 8 step out wells in the same area could really add some major value to the company.
Of course until flow rates are annouced we can only speculate how much pressure there is but we know there is gas there and we know its naturaly fractured and a significate find as the company stated, if its anything like what other companies are producing in the area then we are onto something valuable here!
Will be very very surprised if we do not have a considerable rise tommorrow after people do there own reasearch on the area and formation that WHN have hit!
Lets not forget the small market cap WHN has either if vil, ssn, ggp's market caps are anything to go by then WHN has a long long way to go!
