Padbury has continued its discussions with potential Chinese investors in China. The investors are viewing this as a strategic investment given the likely timeframes involved to complete a feasibility study for the project and to subsequently build it, subject to the economic circumstances prevailing at that time.
Whilst the current iron ore price is low, Padbury is not expecting to be in production for at least four years given the time needed to establish an operating mine at Telecom Hill.
