(November 2019) Engie is selling its Willigolechie WF near Hallet, Mid North SA. It has 32 turbines for 119Mw and cost $250m to build.

Willigolechie - and all SA WFs - gets more valuable as the SA-NSW interconnect becomes more certain. It depreciates as it ages and relentless innovation lifts turbine efficiency.
The WF is likely worth less than construction cost. While I doubt anyone is bidding as we endure the worst economic contraction in the last 300 years due to Coronavirus (BoE), IFN could afford to buy and would be watching. Whether it wants Willigolechie is quite another matter.
