GXY's ebike battery factory is at least 2 years down the track and GXY in the interim will have to rely on a premium price for its Li Carbonate of which ecar battery
manufacturers are the highest value customers.

Any investigation by America's DOT on the safety of ecar li batteries is bound to delay the full scale marketing of ecars in this market and perhaps worldwide.

Coincidentially, Sumitoma has signed a new contract 2 days ago with Toyota to supply its sodium based battery system for Toyota's hybrids.

Fire has always been a hazard with ecar Li batteries whether that be at time of accident or rapid charging.
Bloomberg report indicates that there has been 2 cases of li battery fire in Chevvy Volts; one post accident & another at rapid charging.
