No I am not a fan of public transport. I have an AMG SLK with 5.5 L V8 in the garage for sunny days. I like the noise it makes too.
But I embrace changing technology. I like the sound and look of a good horse but the days of the horse and buggy are over. The rapid change over from horses to motor cars surprised most people. Electric cars will be the same.
Some old buffers resisted the change from horses to cars, kero to electric fridges,records to CDs, black and white tv to colour, etc.
Tried driving a tesla, the acceleration of this family sedan is better than my AMG.
Some of our old friends still miss Blue Hills on the wireless, they will probably still yearn after oil burning cars.
