Why would it be negative? Defineately good news and as an example the $50B deal with China boosted the SP the following morning back in August.
The reason it will boost MEO is that the Gorgon Partners will be looking for more gas to put through their infrastructure. MEO's leases are just to the north of Barrow Is or where the Gorgon Project is to be. Dont rule out WPL and their Pluto Project which is also adjacent to MEO's leases.
MEO is set to open at or above 65c tomorrow.
