I think this is purely Nigerian politics as to who they state as the operator.

In all of Afrens blocks (I own shares in them), the operators are generally stated as the local company with Afren being named the technical partner. In all essence this means that Afren are the "real" operator.

Interesting to see whether these local companies will raise finance to fund the development of Aje soon, as this will dictate when this is likely to become a producing field.
