    The company said late last night its Satyr-3 well, 182km north of Exmouth, had encountered approximately 243 feet (74 meters) of net gas pay.

    Chevron said the well, in the WA-374-P permit area, and was drilled in 1124 metres of water to a depth of 4075 metres.
