At this stage of a trial you are looking for trends, not significance. A binary, yes or no, means nothing. That is why it has been consistently referred to as a safety analysis. If Teva had seen the stats, they would have know whether a trend existed. They didn't see them and have no idea whether the data is moving in the right direction or not.
