ESI was never a competitor for MNM - all they have ever owned is a brown coal drying concept that nobody ever bought despite them trying to licence it for the last 5 years.
their demise could play well for MNM at BM though. the owners of the Maddingley mine are shareholders of ESI. They must now realise that coldry will never be commercialised.
If they want to do something with the Maddingley brown coal deposit then MNM is their only option.
