Those participants in the CR imho make money or aw at lest neutral through washing their shares through the down run. I personally don't believe the people buy and hold. It's their brokers job to make sure their clients don't lose money particularly in cap raises otherwise the brokers wouldn't have clients who would support their lead broker role in CR's
