I have seen many things but this stock should be used as a textbook case.

Not a fan.

Intersting the power of the press.

VTI recently settled a case against the Australian for what seems to be peanuts. It did however effectivly stop any press negative comments being published.

THINGS are bubbling at water treatment specialist Virotec. The word is that it has settled its long-standing libel row with an Australian newspaper, which unkindly likened its Bauxsol technology to snake oil.



The US Environmental Protection Agency's acceptance of Bauxsol's benefits appears to be have been key to a settlement. Some say Virotec could collect £2m.

Hmmm 2 million pounds thats over 5 million Australian.

What was the settlement ? ... not much ... VTI said itself the settlement would not have a material impact on its cash position.

This was when the case was settled two days later on the 17/8/2004.

Nothing like having the press on your side.


And what did the UK investors do with the news, not a thing.

Ahh one day someone will wake up and it aint going to be pretty.

If you want a laugh find the exact terms of the directors bonus agreements. Pay special attention to what happens if they leave or are sacked.
