Skinless chicken breasts on sale in IGA this morning @7.99 kg. Chicken tenders @18.99 kg.
After comparing the two the only difference I can see is that the chicken tenders are sliced thinner and are smaller in size. A bit more elegant perhaps.
To save $11 kg, I can slice and dice with the best of 'em. Bought the @7.99 kg tray home, sliced and now marinading in soy, honey, basil, garlic, chilli and olive oil. For just hubby and myself, the 1.75 kg tray will make 4 meals so I'll freeze half. Healthy protein for 4 meals for 2 people for $12-13 is good value I reckon.
