During their anti CSG campaign, Greens local government dominated local Councils talked up the tourism, agriculture and other alternatives big time.

Held to account, I bet none of those Coucillors and nonr of those Councils have considered let alone enacted any initiatives to make up for economic opportunity lost. In fact I reckon it is unlikely they have ever considered the prospect.

It'd be business as usual for them, considering proposals for the next round of government funding and bemoaning regional belt tightening from federal and state governments.

Concerned residents should rightly mount a noisy campaign to hold them all to account and insist on seeing employment programs for locals, infrastructure funding and commercial vibrancy for the region etc.

Those local Councils and Councillors would squirm under that kind of spotlight imo ... they may have delivered on an anti CSG promise but they will fail on the dream.
